Cancellation Policy

At Two Gates Insurance Broker, we value transparency and customer satisfaction. This Cancellation Policy outlines your rights and responsibilities regarding the cancellation of insurance policies and related services.


1. Policy Cancellation by the Customer

You may cancel your insurance policy at any time by:

  • Submitting a written request to our office or email.

  • Providing your policy number and valid identification.

  • Meeting any specific requirements set by the issuing insurance provider.

🔔 Note: All cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions of the insurer that issued your policy.


2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds on canceled policies depend on:

  • The insurer's refund policy.

  • The time elapsed since policy activation.

  • Whether a claim has been made or not.

Typical scenarios:

  • Before coverage starts: Full refund (minus administrative fee).

  • After coverage starts: Pro-rata refund (less any service charges).

  • After a claim is made: Refunds may not apply.

Two Gates Insurance Broker does not control insurer refund decisions but will advocate on your behalf.


3. Processing Timeline

Once your cancellation is confirmed and approved:

  • Refunds are typically processed within 7–14 business days.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method or via bank transfer, where applicable.


4. Non-Refundable Fees

Please note:

  • Service/consultation fees paid to Two Gates are non-refundable.

  • Government levies or third-party charges (e.g. stamp duty) are also non-refundable once paid.


5. Policy Cancellation by the Insurer

An insurer may cancel your policy due to:

  • Non-disclosure or misrepresentation.

  • Fraudulent claims.

  • Non-payment of premiums.

  • Breach of policy terms.

In such cases, the insurer will notify you in writing and explain refund eligibility (if any).
